Okay I felt like an ass for leaving that really negative post up there for so freeking long. Things have actually been pretty good. I've been working too much, but as a semi-artist, is that ever really a bad thing? Well, it can turn into one if you have no time for the ones you love. Anyhow, I just got finished with a very profitable magazine gig, and traded it for a less-proftable one, but one that allows far more creativity, and far less time. Okay, life's kinda been really $hitty recently. It all starts about a year ago.  I had a fairly prestigious corporate job, running a magazine. Didn't pay very well though. So I get a job offer from a rival company to start a magazine to compete directly with my current magazine. Lesson number one, kids. Only do this if you really hate your current employer, they don't forgive you for $hit like this. Don't jump to rivals, jump to someone they have a business relationship with, not someone out to desroy them. Halloween is like christmas around here.  For the past five years, my little brother has had a gigantic bash the weekend before, usually full of the sort of drunken debauchery all good halloween parties are known for. In fact it ahd gotten more and more scandalous over the years, two years ago, my wife had most of her butt hanging out of the backside of her Bettie Page costume, and it was far from the most revealing.
